NWRCC

Wyoming Survey of Elementary Instructional Practices

The Northwest Regional Comprehensive Center (NWRCC) is operated by the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory and its partner, RMC Research Corporation to provide technical assistance for the state education agencies (SEA) in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming regarding the implementation of the No Child Left Behind act.

The NWRCC works closely with the SEA in each state to build the capacity of key stakeholders in the region to address the needs of schools and districts in need of improvement. Sometimes this work involved collecting information about how schools do business to inform state-level decision making and to improve products and services. The Wyoming Survey of Elementary Instructional Practices was designed by the Wyoming Department of Education to collect information about tiered instructional practices of elementary schools in Wyoming. The survey is intended to be completed by the school principal of a designate with the with the experience and knowledge to acurately respond to the survey items.
